Boring oil & gas refills ill spare you, lets start at the ferry.
Having all the documentation in order made us only feel halfway safe, so we were very surprised when customs only took 5 minutes.
At the parking spot we met a couple of badboys from Tijuana who where on their way to a Volkswagen car show in Guardalajara.

Having arrived 3 hours prior to departure we now had tons of time to kill so we asked if we could exit by foot to take a bath at this enchanting harbour beach.

Finally it was time to board the boat! Lu had to walk in because for some reason only one person is allowed in the car when driving in.
But wait! I got rejected right at the entrance because our numberplate on the ticket was not the right one…..

So back to the registration office…

The woman we had spoken to about 35 times in the last 3 days (who was also the one having put down the wrong numberplate ) shook her head, said : „ Tenemos un problema“ and quickly disappeared in a back room..

Now i started to get nervous. Lu already being on board , me knowing how long registrations can take here and the idiot not coming out of the fricking back room for 15 or so minutes made it worse. Boat was supposed to leave soon….
But what do you know, sometimes even grave mistakes can be fixed with tippex!

So back through the harbour

Luckily Lu was just as nervous as i , so when she saw me coming back ,we both let out a VICTORY cry !

Finally, in we went . This boat is humongously big !

I mean, Lu and i are not the faintest of hearts but after senseless bureaucracy, wrong numberplates and the entire process being so arbitrary, we are more then happy to finally be on board. Ecstatic even!

I could not help but think of this song so i will share it with you:
But our cabin was nice!

Dinner not so much..

After having explored the boat a bit we felt like we deserved a post trauma evening beer. Back to nice again !

Sun was sinking , spirits were rising.

I could probably post 189 but i will just go with the best of. It really is spectacular every time.

La Isla Espirito Santo.

And a bit of post sunset entertainment on board:
We were happy as can be! Especially since after having had our shower there was an equally happy little bubble that floated through our room for like 10 minutes or so 🙂

Unexpectedly we slept like babys for 10 hours straight.
Instant excitement after waking up. First sings of land!

Getting off the boat was superquick and was quickly followed by another victory cry!

Sinaloa mainly lives of agriculture so the first mission was a Frutaria. And weirdly enough this was the first one we found.

Breakfast!

Some might already know that Chiltepin is my favorite chile and Sinaloa is Chiltepin heaven! Its fruity and good and even better when you put it on bananas !

Also, best papaya we have ever had!
Heading towards Puerto Vallarta.
