It all started well.
Here we are waiting in line to get on the boat.

Until the custom guy (customs for inner mexico state borders ?! ) tells me to please follow the patrol car… So i do….

And out of the harbour we drive again to the office buildings in front. Here i cannot make pictures because there is armed guys etc.
Ill try to explain in brief.
Apparently in Baja you need a temporary import permit for your car even though you are not really importing your car. That is super easy to get , you only need to apply for it at the office around the corner.
The problem with the office around the corner was the woman inside the office around the corner. She told us that we only have a 20 day visa and that with our 7 days left she will not give us the permit to temporarily import our car even though we are not even importing our car.
Thats the point were i started to get seriously pissed off. So i left Lu in discussion with the power happy wimp. One more word out of her mouth and i would have bitten of her nose. So while hyperventilating , with a very red head, i rushed of to the marina police guy holding a massive AK , waving my passport , complaining about the massive injustice laid upon us poor germans.. The guy just laughed said that i was right but also told me that the woman is crazy but that neither he, nor the boat company, could help us because in any case you need those stupid import papers.

When entering Mexico with a german passport usually you get a 180 days tourist visa. For some strange reason we only got 20 days this time. However my argument was that we could simply prolong our visa in Mazatlan or in Puerto Vallarta. With that our super important import bitch obviously did not agree ( the guy with the massive gun did, so did the boat company ).
Also on a quick side note here, nobody ever asked us for any temporary import papers nor visa lengths or anything when we reentered Mexico from the States..
Anyhow, sometimes life does not play fair and when traveling Mexico you always gotta expect the unexpected. So immigration office tomorrow to prolong our visas but now we had to go for a quick dip in the sea to cool off.
So we drive for like 10 mins and found a very nice but very busy beach. But we also found this dirt path.

That was obliviously the right bait for me and Lu. When there is something to explore, we always do ! So up we walked.

The first little beach we found. But we could do better. So on we walked.

It ended up being quite the hike in our flip flops.

But „ Wer sucht , der findet“ and what do you know, we did find one of the most beautiful beaches we have ever seen. All alone.

This beach was definitely one of our highlights so far. Still we started to head back before sunset. It gets dark really fast after and we still had to hike back.

You can never really capture the real colours or real atmosphere but you get the idea.
What you can capture is a stuck car.

Quickly a couple of hermanos came and pushed us out. Everybody always helps you out here. Np.
Quick beer before the sun is completely gone.

Back to La Paz.
Tomorrow immigration office.
