Guerrero ——> Oaxaca

Usually bad news always first, but since today is a special day we start with the good ones, then the bad ones and then good ones again.

So we loved our little super eco hideout, jumped in the sea and went for food.

There was actually just one open restaurant with a particular name. So first things first: Shout out to my brother Bene, for expanding his empire to Mexico :

Secondly shout out to my brother Bene, who from this day shall be known as Corona Extra Benny

Thirdly shout out to my brother Bene , who shall be USA Benny for me from now on:

Sorry all, but the man actually deserves more shout outs then three!

Love you! USA Benny , hahahaha

Anyway food was extremely good, very extremely good!

And finally they had Aqua di Tamarindo, which i had been craving for days now. This is a picture of an actual addict.

Not only did we have a very old , very friendly visitor.

The entire place was cool beans. A bit like Villa Kunterbunt. Me gusta!

Now to the not so good news.

After not getting a good picture of the moon eclipse, i again failed to get a good one. Fuck , Blood moon in Mexico and i cant focus right because of big swell spray , shit in the atmosphere and clouds. Vexed.

Whiled i was getting more and more into it , Lu decided to hit the sack. But 5 minutes later i got a message : „ Need help, things are crawling all over me“

Pissed off as i was already, i immediately thought she was exaggerating (you know how i can get) ((unfortunately, i do too)) but i went back anyway since i failed in my blood moon mission.

Poor girl had both legs and her entire left butt full of bed bug bites…

I instantly felt like a bad friend and husband at the same time…

No way we are sleeping in this bed so we populated the hammocks right in front of our little cabana.

Thing is, it is still the pacific ocean and one hour later the waves started pounding in… full on crashing in. So Lu left to sleep inside the car and i tried again, in the hammock.

But no such luck, mosquitoes ravaged me in every possible place.. They even bit me in the face… Waves still pounding… No rest for the wicked!

Thats what they call instant Karma.. Doubting your innocent wife and thats what you get… Yet, another lesson learned…(as if i hadn’t learned that one before…)

Anyways, i could not sleep. But i did have a camera, and the clouds were gone, and the waves started to get smaller, 4 am or so.

I tried again.

and again

For those who do NOT zoom in when they see pics of the moon:

This is mobile phone/ shitty wordpress upload quality. The actual pictures are 60mb.

Satisfied, i started calling people out of pure boredom. Not many answered. Slightly annoyed for a lack of appreciation,i tried to sleep again. Boom, another 50 bites.

Finally the sun was rising! So was Lu!

Decisions were made quickly. Asap out of the sketchy, gun carrying, mosquito heaven that is Guerrero. It did not matter how long, we were going to Oaxaca.

Lu was bad, but so was i. Quick look at the battle scars:

Arms and lower shoulders looked the same. We needed to get the fuck out…

This weird cock nodded in agreement.

This dog too. He actually wiggled his butt more then nodding but lets not get stuck in details..

Finally, 4 tough hours later. Another 1-2 to go.

(I kipped in the back for a good hour or so before switching again)

Ahhhhhhh!

But quick shout out to Lili and all A! things to come. We think you did it!

And ahhh only 1 more hour to go

Puerto Escondido is ( and was last year) again a little too hip for us. Plus the waves are too fucking big and you cant swim here anyhows…We had a different place in mind.

But in the supermarket we went to buy a knife for our street bought pineapples , a sunscreen for tourists and an expensive bottle of red wine for our host tonight.

After the supermarket i could not help myself but do a quick karate workout in front of this tiny car.

All sorted, we entered safe zone.

Mazunte.

Having been here before we knew exactly where to go! El Copal! Its not actually Mazunte but the bay next to it. And on the way, what do you know, we even get our now long desired Lavanderia. So Lu and i actually strip out of the stuff that we were wearing and gave them all. 6.5kg.

El Copal:

After having had a cold shower , we both entered a nail cutting frenzy, quick dip in the sea, Lu did her mails, i started to have mescalitos and write. Writing is easier while having mescal, especially with this view.

Trying to correct my spelling mistakes i realize i actually cant read anymore. Dinner with the wife. I love her!
