As soon as we entered it was clear, in for a proper treat. A jungle treat! Mixed with ruins!

Vegetation is so thick as every plant is trying to battle the others for its place to get to the sun that sometimes you do not know where one starts and the other ends.

While walking around we met a lot of these guys.

They look super cute but i saw two of them fighting and you do not want to get in the middle of them

The variety of plants and especially birds is seriously crazy . And while you are walking through this magical wonderland you constantly hear the weirdest noises you have ever heared. Birds arguing while apes push their egos while around the next corner there is pizotes fighting. It is mindblowing. The soundscape alone is truly magical.

Oh and the ants of course. These are the real jungle keepers. They are everywhere. We must have seen a minimum of 20 different kinds and weren’t even really looking. Its hard NOT to notice them because they have a carefully designed intricate network ( or should i say big ass highways) throughout the whole jungle that is kept spotlessly clean at all times.

On these highways there is lots of commotion. All kinds of things must be carried in all kinds of directions and you find different ants (in all sizes) for all different kinds of tasks.

Amazing coordination, amazing communication , amazing strength. Imagine. carrying something that is only 2 times your size and weight! They easily woop their 10x bodymass…Wonderous little beings. I like ants!

I could go on for ages but let me finish by reminding our selves that all these plants are connected by a huge mycelium network underground and thus are all in constant exchange with each other. If that does not boggle your mind, i do not know what does.
There is yet tons we do not understand and i believe the minimum we can do is to be more humble about the fragility, quality or even the sheer existence of such curious beings.
I will say it one more time, true magic.
