Still not sure if we like Pura Vida, but since we are surrounded, might as well go with it!
Early in the morning, while roaming our disneyland for coffee, i stumbled over the bluetrail.

Of course i want to know!

Trying not to puke in my mouth while being bombarded with “The message” i decided it might be a better idea to just go for a swim while Lu was jogging.
Turns out that smoking a cigarette while looking at young bananas, , spider webs, beautiful mushrooms and crazy flowers will make this particular camper live just as long as he, wait for it, will live! I mean Pura Vida, right ?

It also turns out that the place we found at night was called: Nosara. And a beautiful beach it has.

I found Lu down at the beach and we both went for a swim before getting back in the car.
To drive for 10 minutes because the next beach is called : Guiones. It is 2-3 kilometers long and there are waves for every skill level.

While buying a Coco Frio, we had a better look at the local money. It looks really nice.

Seven thousand Colones are roughly 10 Euros.
The thing we suddenly realized was that it was very good weather! It seems like we are back into“ normal“ rain season, which means that you get a shower every now and then but generally it is sunny in the mornings and the rains only start towards the evenings as the air cools down.
We also realized that we have all of Costa Rica to explore! And just after the first day we are not surprised why Costa Rica is called Costa Rica! Some people would say : Pura Vida!
So back in the car ! But where to go ? Down the coast of course!
That sounded easier in our minds than it actually was. Yes it doesnt rain as much as before but it still rains a lot. Which means some roads are just closed because suddenly there is a river, you just should not cross. Previous experiences have proven this statement very true. The dudes on the other side agreed.
And shouted , a cheeky „Pura Vida“ over to us , before turning around.

We had to take one or two of these diversions, that meant for a drive that usually would have taken 3 hours or so, took us a good 5. That was not necessaryly bad news. We crossed a couple of mountains,

had a couple of pretty cool views,

had a nice Piña on the way,

found a nice mango tree

that unfortunately was a bit high for my thieving indent … but sometimes you gotta look down , not up…

Strike!

Also some nice looking nests. I was thinking bees but i did not see any when checking them out.

Maybe some sort of ant, they had „channels“ going up and down the tree.

Quick shout out to Pipo for showing me the tune! Its a beast! The man and the song!

And also shout outs to the car owner in front of us, for choosing a good name but having failed miserably at spelling it…hahaha

We were getting closer,

and suddenly very sure that apart from the name, everything else seemed right also,

but the restaurant was closed. No tangas in sight either… The beach was beautiful though

The original destination was further south but not wanting to drive in the dark again we said we would take the next hotel we see. And it was a strange Hacienda style thing with a tipi ?! next to it:

Cheap , clean, Pura Vida, we raced down to the beach , it wasnt raining. Maybe not too many clouds, maybe even a sunset.. And what do you know:

The food at the hotel was defrosted seafood… but we are in too much of a good mood to even care. Finally i am finishing the posts of the last two days. We had two beers. And going to bed now. Its 8 pm, and loving it.
P.. P.. P.. , nah , just perfect!
