Going out is fun, but it is a lot more fun with friends. So let me take 2 minutes to talk about ours in Medellín.
Because it turns out that besides being a gifted artist

Veronica also has a massive farm in the Mompox area where she holds kettle. Federico , it turns out, has a farm where he grows potatoes , onion and mais around 2 hours away from Bogota somewhere. We love the fact they both have farms, makes them a tad more lovable than they already are !
This is the kind of intel you get when meeting at Federicos place for pre dinner drinks. The view (and his porn lighting) is spectacular.

What followed that night was not an actual dinner but a 30 minute cab ride to Lus first football match at the Atanasio Girardot Stadium.

It was Independente Medellín vs Millonarios F.C. from Bogota in the halffinal of the Copa Colombia.

And while the match was not as wild as we would have liked it to be it was still great fun.

Especially the MASSIVE hotdogs they brought us.

Luckily Lu and i have a big mouths…

2-0 for las gallinas blancas ! Only a small bummer thought…Thanks for taking us here hermano!
Having had a proper introduction to Aquardiente we were missing the same for proper Chicharrón.
I forgot the name of the place but once Federico reminds me ill edit it in. According to him, one of the best places for Chicharrón in Medellín.

So we ordered a dish with 6-7 different kinds.

Hand while you are stuffing your face with pork, there is some light entertainment in the background.
This guy was not messing around. We did not really know what was going on, but where moved and in awe nevertheless.

Inspired by a lot of meat, a lot of loud music and even more Chicharrón, we decided it was time to go to a Salsa bar.

After Veronica and Federico showed us how it is done, things got blurry quickly.
Gracias a los dos por esas lindas tardes! ♥️
